Lash Questions

Q: Who's A Good Candidate for lash extensions?

Most people are good candidates for lash extensions, however there are a few contraindications.

If you do not have any natural lashes at all, unfortunately you are not a good candidate for lash extensions. The application process requires the extensions to be placed on each individual lash.

If you pull your hair, specifically your eyelashes out. Getting extensions will rarely make this condition or habit go away, It is also likely your natural lashes will be damaged, weak or brittle. However this can vary by individual. A consultation would be needed if you're unsure.

Short, damaged, weak lashes. This is again a case by case basis. In some instances a lash serum can be used to regrow your lashes. It can also be used while you have extensions applied, however, you must realize this more than likely will interfere with the retention of your lash extensions. If your natural lashes are very short and you want very long lashes, understand over time this may cause damage to your natural lashes. You may not be happy with retention and you may find your extensions drooping or twisting.

Q: What can I expect?

Initial lash appointments can take between 2 and 3.5 hours. You should schedule your appointment when you have enough time to complete you lash session. This is the time for you to relax, lay back and take some time for yourself!

We will have a consultation to establish the state of your natural lashes and what look you want to achieve with the extensions. All sets appear natural as the extensions are individually applied. Depending on how full your natural lashes are, determines the final look. Even though I have photos of sets keep in mind; these are for an idea. One person's Luxorious Full Volume Set may look like another person's Partial Volume Queen  Set.

After that, lay back on a comfortable, warming massage table (by request) and the service begins. You may find yourself falling asleep, either way you will open your eyes feeling refreshed and marvelous with your new Luxorious Lashes! Pre-booking your next appointment before leaving is highly recommended to make the best of your maintenance.

Q: I've never had lashes before, where do I start?

This page is the best place. Check out all the other links in the previous questions, as well as the lash quiz to help get you started. If you're worried you might have an allergic reaction to the adhesive, a consultation is recommended so I can do a patch test first.

After here head on over to the Photo Gallery and About page (if you want to know more about myself, history and business). You can read my reviews on Google and see my most recent work there as well.
